Salesbury Cricket Club has announced a new sponsorship deal with Ribble Valley-based camper van rentals and sales company, My Adventure Campers.

The deal will see the company logo on the back and on the sleeves of the playing shirts of all senior and junior teams ahead of the 2024 season.

Salesbury Cricket Club chair, David Moss said: "We are delighted to partner with My Adventure Campers, they are a local, growing business that will really connect with our members and guests.

"Faced with the spiralling costs of running a community club such as ours, having great sponsorship partners is becoming ever more important.

"If we want to continue to grow and thrive and keep providing better opportunities and resources for everyone this is exactly the sort of partnership we need."

My Adventure Campers is a family-based Camper Van hire, sales and fitting company based in the Ribble Valley, with a mission to provide loved ones and families with precious moments spent exploring without breaking the bank.

Company owner Jasmine Bell said: "My Adventure Campers are thrilled to partner with Salesbury Cricket Club.

"It is a club in the heart of the community of Salesbury and we wanted to be a part of that.

"We will be visiting on match days and junior practice nights, meeting new people and enjoying a few drinks at the club.

"We can't wait to see the My Adventure Campers logo on players' shirts every week.

"As you can expect from a camper van company we very much looking forward to an exciting journey ahead together."

Salesbury Cricket Club plays in the North West Cricket League with the season kicking off on Saturday May 4 at 1pm, as the 1st team travels to Farnworth and the 2nd team hosts Farnworth at the Salesbury Cricket Ground on Ribchester Road.
