Time up for several Swans
Swansea have announced the release of strike duo Leroy Lita and David Ngog, while Roland Lamah and Alvaro Vazquez have returned to their Primera Division parent clubs.
Former England Under-21 international Lita has struggled to impose himself at the Liberty Stadium following a £1.75million move from Middlesbrough in August 2011 and has had loan spells at Birmingham, Sheffield Wednesday and Brighton in the last couple of years.
The 29-year-old is now deemed surplus to requirements, along with former Liverpool striker David Ngog, who made three appearances for the Swans this year after joining on a short-term deal from Bolton.
Belgium international Lamah joined the club on an 18-month loan deal from Osasuna but was not a first-team regular and Vazquez will return to Getafe as he is not part of Swans boss Garry Monk's plans for the future.
While Jonathan de Guzman's loan deal is also up, Swans chairman Huw Jenkins is hopeful of the Villarreal midfielder returning for a third spell.
"We will talk to his club and agent to see what his thoughts are - as we did last summer,'' he said.
