England forward James Graham has signed a new contract with Canterbury Bulldogs that will keep him in the NRL until the end of the 2018 season.

The 28-year-old former St Helens prop has made 45 appearances since joining the Bulldogs in 2012 and last season was awarded the Dr George Peponis Medal as player of the year.

"I'm really delighted to be honest," Graham said. "To be able to have the next four years here is great and I'm grateful for the opportunity to stay.

"I'm really enjoying my time here. Home will always be home but Sydney and Canterbury are home for now and I feel very settled here."

Canterbury coach Des Hasler said: "When you look at the stats each week, James is consistently at the top of the list. I'm happy that he will be wearing blue and white for the next four years."
