Dracula actor Sir Christopher Lee is due to be knighted by the Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace.

The star is known for his blood-curdling performances opposite Peter Cushing in the Hammer Horror movies.

He is one of the most prolific actors, appearing in more than 250 film and television productions and is being honoured for services to drama and to charity.

Now 87, he is still working, and recently voiced the Jabberwock in Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland, due out next year.
