A reunion between Justin Timberlake and his 'N Sync buddies is not out of the question, band mate Chris Kirkpatrick has said.
The five-piece announced a "temporary hiatus" in 2002 and have not performed as a group since that date.
But in an encouraging sign for their legions of fans, Chris said he was not ruling all of them returning to the stage or recording studio.
He told People magazine: "You never know what the future holds.
"Anything could happen. We're all just being ourselves for a little while."
The 38-year-old currently fronts pop/rock band Nigels 11.
But he clearly thinks that Justin and the others will be making music together again at one point.
He told People: "I think when the stars are aligned, the time is right and all five of us have our heads on straight and know the direction we're going as a band, it'll eventually happen.
"If not, I know we'll be best friends forever."
