Garner heats up water charity bash
Jennifer Garner has been greeted by a barrage of flashbulbs as she arrived in Beverly Hills to host the fifth annual Thirst Project Gala.
The Daredevil star, who is married to Ben Affleck, smiled and waved for the cameras as she joined a host of other familiar faces for the charity benefit.
The Thirst Project, a movement made up of high school and college students, builds freshwater wells in developing nations and impoverished communities to provide people with safe, clean water.
Mother-of-three Jennifer was joined on the red carpet by The Wanted heartthrob Siva Kaneswaran, who has just moved to Los Angeles and is still dazzled by the change of scene.
He said of his new home: "I got here five days ago, it's crazy, I've got a wicked tan already. I've gone surfing, I've gone hiking in Runyon Canyon, I'm just getting involved in the LA scene."
The band is on a break while they all pursue independent interests and Siva said he is enjoying the change.
"We all agreed we are going to do our own thing so that is what we are doing, I'm very happy for the rest of the boys. It's nice, it feels like I'm on holiday. I can do my own stuff and go crazy, I'm in LA!"
Speaking about the Thirst Project Gala, he added: "I became aware of it from Twitter and all the fans are passionate about it. My fanbase is quite young so I wanted to raise awareness with them and with everyone about the Thirst Project. The charity is growing and it's good to be here to support a good thing."
More than 300,000 students across the United States who have raised enough money to give 260,000 people in 12 countries safe, clean water.
