Lily Allen has insisted she wasn't mocking Beyonce in a tribute performance to the American star at G-A-Y.
Air Balloon singer Lily was on stage at the London club when she donned a tiny black string bikini and a blonde wig to give a rendition of Beyonce's Drunk In Love while writhing around the floor like the singer does in her video, according to the Daily Mirror.
For her encore, Lily poked fun at Beyonce's Grammy Awards appearance, having a bucket of water thrown over her before performing a cover of Destiny Child's Survivor.
But when fans blasted her on Twitter for mocking Beyonce, Lily hit back that it hadn't been her intention.
She tweeted: "Each time I play G-A-Y I do a cover in drag. 1st time I did Dorothy, last time Britney, this time Queen Bey. Why do people jump to conclusions.
"I wasn't mocking Beyonce, like I wasn't dissing anyone on #SHEEZUS, this is so f***ing boring."
