Paddy McGuinness has revealed that he and former comedy partner Peter Kay have been writing together again.

The Take Me Out presenter appeared on This Morning, where he hinted that there may be a future project coming up for the pair.

Asked whether he would work with his Phoenix Nights partner Peter again, Paddy admitted: "We are thinking about it, but there's no plans at the moment."

Presenter Holly Willoughby asked whether they had written anything yet and Paddy replied: "We have written something."

Comedy Phoenix Nights ended 12 years ago after two series and the duo last worked together on the single-series spin off Max And Paddy in 2004.

Paddy also said of dating show Take Me Out: "It's doing well and when I see things like weddings and babies being born I think, 'yeah, it's not a gimmick, it really does work'."
