Joe Manganiello is in talks to open a male strip club.
The 37-year-old - who starred as a male stripper in Steven Soderbergh's Magic Mike and produces La Bare, a documentary about the Dallas branch of the male strip clubs chain - admitted that he has been in negotiations to invest in one of the venues himself.
"The owner [of La Bare] has asked me if I want to go in with him on a new club. We're talking about it," he told E! News.
"I never in a million years thought this is the way my career would be going, but here we are," he added.
Joe, who premiered La Bare at the Sundance Film Festival on January 19, revealed his performance as Big D*** Richie in Magic Mike, which also starred Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey, was influenced by La Bare.
"My Magic Mike journey was inspired by La Bare. One of my best friends was a dancer there back in the 90s. He did the fireman routine," said the True Blood star.
"His story inspired Big D*** Richie and then that inspired me to go back to the club and pick up really what was left on the table. People wanted to know more about the guys and their life in that culture."
