NELSON chairman Alan Pickering is confident gates will improve at Victoria Park this term with a winning side.
The Blues kick-start their Premier Division campaign tomorrow with a trip to Ashton Athletic, before new boss Jon Westall’s men host AFC Fylde next Wednesday.
After a tumultuous last season, Pickering is hopeful of better times ahead.
“We’ve got a good side, and if we start winning I’m sure our supporters will come back this season,” said Pickering “We’ve probably got a hardcore of about 60 or 70 fans, but we obviously want more at games.”
