GOALKEEPER Jon Stewart and striker Alex MacDonald have been offered new deals to extend their stays at Turf Moor.
As Burnley boss Eddie Howe starts building his squad for the new Championship campaign, the Clarets have released their retained list.
Teenage frontmen Joe Jackson and Shay McCartan have also been offered new contracts, with veteran goalkeeper Brian Jensen mulling over an offer of a new deal himself.
Burnley have also taken up the option of a second year on captain Chris McCann's contract.
Howe has formally released three senior players, Andre Amougou, Brian Easton and Clarke Carlisle.
