DARWEN go in search of their first win since April tomorrow – but face a tough test of their ambitions at Birch Hall in the shape of Fleetwood.

The Towers were beaten at Barrow a fortnight ago and then lost to the Lancashire Colts in a shock result.

And last weekend John Cordingley’s men saw their chance of a return to winning ways scuppered as the game at Morecambe was called off on Friday night with the Woodhill Lane pitch under water.

Fleetwood have impressed at times this season with Adam Parker always reliable and they have only lost once this term on their way to their current spot in mid-table.

And Darwen are without Alex Davies for the game as he is on representative duty so Mark Bennett comes in to keep wicket.
