David Bentley will find out today if his season will be extended into next month when Stuart Pearce names his England Under 21 squad for the forthcoming European Championships.
The Rovers midfielder was included in the original 30-man squad that was named by Pearce a fortnight ago, but that was due to be whittled down to 23 names today.
Bentley's team-mate Matt Derbyshire was also hoping to make the cut.
