JOHN Coleman admits he must wait on Liverpool's plans for on-loan duo David Martin and Godwin Antwi before knowing if they will return to Accrington Stanley next season.
Centre-back Antwi, 18, and goalkeeper Martin, 20, have been a revelation since making loan switches from Anfield.
The pair played pivotal roles in Stanley's successful fight for survival, and Coleman said he would love to see the young duo return to the Fraser Eagle Stadium after the summer.
But their future depends on the thought-process of Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez.
"We are looking at what Liverpool are thinking," said Stanley manager Coleman.
"They might have aspirations for them to play a little bit higher.
"But they've enjoyed their time here and I know if they do stay they will get looked after.
"There's a smashing character about them and a smashing attitude.
"They've always been the type of players that I've tried to sign at this club, certainly since me and Jimmy have been here.
"We will always try to get players where football means something to them."
