Work on long-awaited classrooms at Holcombe Brook Primary School is to begin.
Rossendale developers B&E Boys has won a £500K contract to build three large classrooms and replace four temporary prefabs which have been there for more than 30 years.
The Longsight Road school will see work begun on March 17 and the building is expected to be completed by the end of August.
