THIS year’s Pendle Visitors’ Guide was launched yesterday at the borough’s first-ever tourism conference.

The guide is designed to boost visitor numbers to the area and can be found at www.visitpendle. com. Coun Paul White, who leads on tourism in thr borough, said: “We’re proud to be officially launching the new guide at our conference for Pendle’s visitor businesses. The new guide shows that Pendle has some of the best attractions on offer in the UK and beyond.” The new guide also includes details on great attractions, places to stay, places to eat and things to do.

The tourism conference, held at the ACE Centre, Nelson, replaces Pendle Tourism Forum, which used to meet four times a year but was scrapped last July.
