PARENTS dropping off children and picking them up at a Colne primary school are being reminded not to park on the zig-zag zone near the entrance.
In a newsletter to parents, a spokesman for Sacred Heart Primary School, in Red Lane, said an accident could be caused if drivers did not follow the rule. He said: “It has been noticed that parents are increasingly using the zig-zag marked area of the road to drop their children off at school.
“Please do not stop your car on these lines, they mean no parking at any time.
“Parking on this part of the road could lead to an accident.”
