THEY are style queens, making brides beautiful on their big days.
Now, Phoebe Caramitsos and Amy Leigh Crank, the brains behind make-up company Flossy and Leigh, have won a top honour at a national awards ceremony.
The friends, based in Barrowford, first met in 2009 and founded their own business shortly after, specialising in make-up for weddings.
Their work was recognised at the Wedding Industry Awards, where they won the Best Wedding Make-Up Artist award at ceremony at London’s Bloomsbury Ballroom.
It was third time lucky for the duo, who have twice won the award for the best service in the North West. Phoebe said: “We met in January 2009 while training to use air brush make-up.
“From there, we went on to work on various media projects including magazine photoshoots, TV commercials, BBC TV dramas and a number of music videos.
“Our real passion however, lies in the joyous arena of weddings."
