PENDLE Dogs in Need has helped 108 dogs since April.
The charity has 13 dogs on home trials, due to be adopted and nine in foster homes either looking for forever homes or being assessed.
Of the 108 dogs the charity has been involved with, 74 have been helped to find ‘forever’ homes.
A spokesman for the charity said: “We couldn't have done this without the support of all the people out there, and particular thanks go to all the members of the team who give up their own time to home check, transport, fundraise etc.
“Next year is going to be an even bigger year for the rescue and we are looking for more foster homes and volunteers to join the team.”
