BARNOLDSWICK charity Bosom Friends is urging people to enter its first Santa Fun Run.
Sunday’s 5km event starts at West Craven Sports Centre and those taking part have the option of running, jogging or even walking the course as it snakes its way around Barnoldswick towards the finish line on the Town Square.
Every participant will get their own Santa suit to wear. Entry is £10 for adults and £5 for ages five to 16.
Organiser Sharon Hurst said: “We have done amazingly well in attracting sponsorship towards the cost of staging this event thanks to the generosity of local businesses and the town council. It means that most, if not all, the entry fee can go direct to the charity.
“But we hope that some of those taking part might also take the opportunity to raise some extra money by getting family and friends to sponsor their efforts.”
Entry forms are available at Barnoldswick Library and local shops.
