I AM from Blackburn and was transferred to Burnley General Hospital since the Royal Blackburn was full. I was looked after by Caroline, a student nurse, Andrea, a staff nurse and Mr Pardha, the consultant on Ward 24. And I couldn't have had better care if I had gone private, these three were wonderful.
I had a broken hip and my heart was weakened by the operation.
I, my family and friends feared the worst, but these three rallied round comforting me that everything would be okay and now, after nearly four weeks, I am strong and doing well and on the road to recovery.
I would just like to say, on behalf of me and my family and all my friends, that what these three did is greatly appreciated and from all of us God bless and thank you.
