Thousands join East Lancashire group's prayers for Madeleine McCann

THOUSANDS of people around the world joined an East Lancashire group’s online prayer day for Madeleine McCann.
Madeleine’s mother Kate McCann is thought to be one of the 20,000 Christians who joined the Accrington and Burnley-based prayer circle in a day of remembrance for Madeleine and all missing children worldwide on Friday.
The prayer circle known as ‘music download revolution’ has been up and running for a year and members say they are becoming increasingly popular.
The core of the organisation is the Christian music download site, from which the group’s campaign to raise awareness of child trafficking has attracted global attention.
John Wearne, who belongs to St Paul’s Church in Accrington and co-runs the site, said: “Eight jumbo jet loads of children disappear every single day for the purposes of sex trafficking and the church has a responsibility, a duty, to impact this evil.
"We still believe that Madeleine is out there and we believe in spiritual warfare and that prayers for her will help bring her home.
“I have also spoken to Madeleine's mother, Kate McCann, who is happy we are promoting this for her lost little angel. She confirmed to me that she would be joining in.”
John runs the site with Burnley man Robert Robinson, a singer-songwriter who promotes the site’s music.

Let us simply pray that the full truth emerges before these events bring about more tragedy.

I respectfully ask that everyone keep an open mind regarding the circumstances of Madeleine's disappearance - as rumor, innuendo, and outright fiction are not beneficial to finding the truth.
I feel that respect for Madeleine is the top priority - and slurs against her family, especially in commenting to an article of this type - only victimize Madeleine further.
The small faction of organizers who have made it their life's work to comment viciously against the McCanns with every opportunity, could better put their energy and interest in Madeleine to better uses - maybe helping to find her? or helping other children around the world?

Yes, I do have suggestions as to how you can help.
From the comfort of your own home, you can use your computer in a positive way - by emailing the members of the detective unit in Portugal who were in charge of the investigation into Madeleine's disappearance, asking them to please not give up on her and to continue investigating any and all who could be involved - including locals (not just British locals ;)).
You can join any of the numerous groups who are emailing Madeleine's poster all over the world, in hopes that someone somewhere might remember something, or can add experiences of their own which could help towards a conclusion.
And of course, there are many children throughout the world who are missing - numerous ways that you can help.
And don't forget that with the enactment of a Europe-wide Amber-type alert, and even a Megan's Law (convicted sex offender info available to the public) there are many ways you can get involved to urge your lawmakers to adopt measures that will protect other children - maybe even your children.
It's a horrible thing to think about - but children everywhere are at risk - and every person should consider this and act to help.

These parents gave no respect to their 3 children. IMO they are fair game for any criticism at their selfish and thoughtless parenting.
They left 3 children under the age of 4 every night of their Holiday in PDL, not just on May 3rd, leaving them from approx 8:30pm till midnight which was their routine.
Shane on them.
And if Amaral's studied opinion is correct and she died by accident, neglected and then her body hidden away by them, saying 'Find the body and prove it' ~ Let it be the reason there are people who still fight for the Truth about what happened to Madeleine and where she could be today.

As far as Scandi's comment is concerned about Ameral 'retiring' - this fat slob was sacked from his position because he criticised the British police, instead of doing his job he went on four hour boozy lunches, and told his formula one pal that the McCanns had killed Madeleine before he had any proof. Then he went on to write a book so that he could cash in on the plight of Madeleine and her parents. Is that what you call an honourable man?? I don't think so.
If Madeleine is dead, where is the body? Surely the Portuguese police could find that with their exceptional skills and their wonderful sniffer dogs?
Oh. and by the way, the sniffer dogs from England weren't called in until August, four months after Madeleine was abducted, and after two families had stayed in 5A Ocean Club apartment.
As far as BateBird is concerned, Jill, and I for that matter, have every right to post on your local newspaper site.
I believe that the people who are still calling the McCanns after 19 months ought to put their efforts into doing something productive to help find this little girl. Because I believe that she is still out there waiting to be found. You people are not helping in the slightest. If you care for Madeleine as much as you want justice for her, then do something productive instead of slating her parents.
If you think that she is dead, well so be it, but just keep quiet. We have heard all the vicious comments thousands of times over. Let the people who still believe she is alive continue their search. I contribute to the Madeleine Fund every month, and have done since she was taken. That is my way of helping the search, together with my posters in my car, and my label on my handbag. They all serve to remind people that she is still missing.
What I would like to know from you vindictive people is when will you get tired of your continuing tyrade, have you nothing better to do in your lives. If not, I feel nothing but pity for you. Why don't you start a thread on Karen Matthews - now that is a woman that should be pilloried!!! And she had the gall to ask the McCanns for some of the Madeleine Fund!!! Anyway, there was an ulteria motive to get the McCanns back to Portugal. The police at that stage still wanted to pin the abduction and, in their opinion, murder, of Madeleine on Kate McCann. She would have been yet another mother who was accused of a crime she didn't commit, just like Joanna's mother a few years previous.
What would you have done in their position? I sure as hell wouldn't have gone back to Portugal, anyway they were advised by their solicitors not to go.

I wanted to give you the case of Daniel Watson who was arrested 5 years from the time of his wife's death in 2003.
A reconstruction was done in Australia and Daniel refused to attend. The crime scene was recreated with stand-ins for him and his wife who were scuba diving off a reef.
What the reconstruction made apparant after 5 years is that if his wife was where he said she was when she started to float down to the sandy bottom, lifeless, she would have landed in a different location that where they found her.
Case solved and he was arrested this year and will be tried in Australia.
IMO time sometimes stands still for crime.

Thanks for your explanation - but if Madeleine had been murdered her body hasn't been found, therefore how can anyone prove by any way or means that she had been murdered by anyone??

SURELY THAT IS WHAT HER PARENTS SHOULD HAVE DONE SHOULD BE DOING.
Her parents have been searching for Madeleine night and day. They have private detectives scouring the world for her. There is no point in them going, and even if they did people such as you would pull them to pieces for 'not looking after their other two children properly'. They are between a rock and a hard place, and can't win either way. That's why they need people such as myself and Jill to stand up for them. Regards lib 6266

I don't believe Madeleine was murdered, but rather died by accident.
Steve, the owner of the site Batty posted above, has studied this case with great intensity from the beginning,
Today he stated at the 3A's "There is overwhelming evidence that shows Madeleine McCann died in or near Apt 5A at the Ocean Club Resort in Praia da Luz . . . A court of law hasn't adjudicated on that evidence is all, but the statement is still 100% true." Stevo
So that means the PJ have enough evidence to prove she is dead. The PJ have also stated her body was hidden and moved several times, in fact they stated they know where the first place is she was put.
As to proving who was responsible for the conditions surrounding her death and eventually hiding her body so it would be difficult to find, I leave that to the investigators. The Circumstantial evidence is solid from what we have all read, and we know they have kept back info on evidence as investigators always do.
Cheshire, if I could learn of any evidence that has been found showing someone other than members of the T9 are responsible for disposing of her body against the law, I would be totally open to looking at it.
In the 19 months since she disappeared there has been nothing showing this, been studied and ruled out, and it seems everything points to an inside job from what I have read and IMO.
Something I find worthy of note is the ex-CID detective Mr Mark Williams-Thomas penned a short article discussing the 4 possible ways Madeleine could have gone missing. He ruled out her walking away on her own and a stranger abduction as I remember, and said the most likely scenario to put at the top of the list would be someone familiar to her - parents and he included the friends as well. This was written in the Sunmer of '07, and by October he started working for the McCann Team in some capacity. Hmmmmm ;}
PS: I know you don't like Amaral, but have you read his book? It is Velly Intellesting as Dr Henry Lee would say!

The McCanns' naive and arrogant actions have had consequences more far-reaching than anything they could possibly have imagined.
