A BURNLEY school boy is still fighting for his life after being hit by a car on Wednesday.
Luke Mason, 13, suffered serious head injuries after the accident involving a blue Mazda 3 hatchback in Lyndhurst Road when he had nipped out to buy breakfast cereal.

Firefighters had to use inflatable airbags to free Luke from underneath the car after the accident, near the family’s Mitella Street home.
The Blessed Trinity student remains at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in a serious condition.
