Sessions will be held at the Central Library in Manchester every Tuesday from 6pm-8pm and are open to anybody over 16.
Jody’s rollercoaster career, which began with his role as Lip Gallagher in the Channel 4 drama, and continued with a starring turn in ITV’s The Fixer, has also involved a video shoot with Tulisa Contostavlos, followed by a brief romance, and a role in EastEnders.
Away from the cameras, he briefly ran Jacks bar, in the former Victoria Hotel, in Barrowford, and was involved in a clothing store and salon in Market Street, Bacup.
But he also narrowly avoided jail, and wept in the dock, at Burnley Crown Court as he was given a suspended sentence for producing cannabis.
Jody, who made a return to his most recognised role for the grand finale of Shameless, was also a contestant in Channel 5’s Celebrity Super Spa.
