A TALENTED community choir in Burnley is appealing for new members.
The Clarion Choir meet at St Peter’s School in Church Street every week from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
A spokesman for the group said: “We are a community choir with the roots in the Socialist Clarion tradition.
“We sing for the fun of it but we also give our voices to support local groups whose values we share.
“There are about 20 of us, there are no auditions and no need to read music.
“All songs are taught by ear. You just need to enjoy singing with other people.
“The high point of the year is participating in the Street Choir Festival when we join 30 to 50 other choirs in mass sing.”
