OFFICES had to be evacuated for almost an hour after a town centre fire in Burnley today.
Crews were called to Stephen House in Bethesda Street at around 1.15pm after a small blaze involving a light fitting on the second floor.
It caused severe damage to the light fitting and a small area of carpet, and smoke damage to two floors of the building.
