BMW stolen in Burnley

A BMW car was stolen from a house in Burnley after the occupier left the front door unlocked and the keys on display.

The light blue BMW 3 series, registration number LX54 AZB, was stolen between 12midnight and 6.45am today at the Todmorden Road house.

Two Playstation 3’s, a camera and a laptop were also stolen from the house.

The car is still missing and police are carrying out investigations.

Pennine Duty Inspector Andy Carter said: “We advise people not to leave their keys visible and lock your doors.

“There is no trace of the vehicle so far.”

If some people's brains were dynamite theere would not be enough to blow their hat off. Fancy leaving the front door open and the keys on show. Why not just put up a sign saying burglars welcome!

it would be quite easy to stage something like this.The car could be found later and returned i the same condition it was taken in but not the stolen property.They claim of the insurance and get money for the allegedly stolen items.Sounds dodgy to me.
