'Extremely vulnerable' missing man found safe and well in Burnley thanks to LT readers

AN ‘EXTREMELY vulnerable’ man with mental health issues who went missing in Burnley has been found safe and well.
Tim Allen, 51, from Sharoe Green Lane in Preston, was last seen at Burnley General Hospital a week ago.
After information provided by the police by Lancashire Telegraph readers, the man was found in Burnley Town centre today (Tuesday).
Inspector Phil Hutchinson from Burnley police said: “He was found in Burnley town centre and he is fine. He has not caused any harm to himself.
“I would like to say thank you very much to Telegraph readers. Without them we may not have found him safe and well.
We are now able to deploy our resources elsewhere.”
