Traffic disruption predicted as Burnley park work starts

WORK to improve the main road access to Towneley Hall and Park in Burnley is due to start this week.
The resurfacing of Towneley Holme Road and the hall drive will cause short-term temporary disruption to traffic access to the park.
The work will last until Friday, November 2.
Councillor John Harbour said: “This resurfacing work is an essential part of the regular maintenance of one of the most popular parks in the North West. Visitors will notice an immediate improvement.”
