And EuroMillions winner, Geoff Bennette, from Blackburn, who scooped £3.5m in 2011 is urging East Lancashire folk to buy a ticket.

Geoff said: “It was just the most amazing feeling ever. My wife and I were able to buy so many things – things which we could only have dreamed of owning previously.

“A car is something which you often just settle for second best on but winning the lottery enabled us to go out and buy the car of our dreams.”
