Rural pursuits can be seen at Chipping Agricultural Show, which celebrates farming and country life, on August 27.
The show celebrates all aspects of farming and rural life with classes for sheep, cattle, light horses, ponies and shire horses plus poultry, pigeon and egg sections.
There are also classes for cheeses, handicrafts, cakes and preserves, a large horticultural section plus children's, dog and baby sections.
There are over 50 trade stands and a craft marquee packed with local rural crafts, a speciality food producers marquee, vintage vehicles on show plus entertainment for children and main arena attractions throughout the day.
With the backdrop of Parlick Fell the show ground is a 5 minute walk from the centre of Chipping village which is in the picturesque Forest of Bowland AONB.
* Chipping Show takes place in Chipping on Saturday, August 27. The showground is signpost from the village. Adults £8, children £2.
