CWMGORS ABC swept the boards at the senior Welsh ABA Finals on Friday, picking up the coveted Best Club in Wales title thanks to wins from Zack Davis, Chris Jenkins and Ben Baker.
GB Boxing squad man Zack Davies had too much firepower for Craig Woodruff and was named Best Boxer of the Night at the event in the Sports Wales National Centre in Sophia Gardens, Cardiff.
Zack was always in command and put on a fantastic display of technique, guile and power to storm to a 16-4 victory in the 60kg class.
Chris took the 64kg title while Ben triumphed at 49kg.
"It was a fantastic night for us as a club," said trainer Ronnie Morris.
"For a club the size of Cwmgors to be named the best club in Wales at an event where just about every other club in the country was represented is a truly incredible achievement.
"I was absolutely delighted by the performances of all our fighters on the night and for us to have won three from three just goes to show the quality we have at our gym.
"All three fighters put in top notch performances and for Zack to have been named the best fighter on the night is a wonderful achievement for him personally and for the Cwmgors club as a whole."
