A COMPUTER firm has become the largest of its kind in the country following a take-over deal. Dentons of Burnley has acquired Stockport-based Hallman Computer Services, which employs 22 people. The deal means Dentons is now the largest Sage Solutions Centre in the country.

"We are delighted to have acquired a high profile business with such a good name in the industry," said Dentons general manager Kevin Cowgill.

The enlarged company will now have a staff of 20 technicians, training and support staff dedicated to the Sage brand. Hallman Computer Services, which has a national bluechip client base, was founded 10 years ago and had a turnover of £1.6 million in the last financial year.
