IT'S official, Rovers will be without a first team game over the Easter weekend at the end of March.

The Premiership game against Tottenham, scheduled for Easter Saturday, has now been arranged for White Hart Lane on Wednesday, January 29 (kick-off 7-45pm).

Easter Monday had already been left blank because of international fixtures.

THE attendance figure for the Coca-Cola Cup tie against Stockport County has been amended.

Some complimentary tickets were included in the original figure and the official attendance returned to the League is now13,965.

HOME games for Rovers Reserves in the Pontin's League Premier Division will be played at Deepdale from now until the end of March.

The first fixture at Preston's ground will be on Monday week, November 11, when Bolton Wanderers are the visitors. A new date has still to be found for the reserve game away to Manchester United. It should have been played next Wednesday but has been called off.

IF you are thinking about buying a Rovers Return ticket at tomorrow's game against Liverpool, there will be three prizes on offer from now on.

TICKETS for the next Premiership fixture, against Chelsea at Ewood on Saturday, November 16 (kick-off 3pm), have been on open sale for some time. Normal prices apply.

The Premiership game against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground has been switched from Saturday, November 23, to Monday, November 25 (8pm) for "live" screening by Sky TV.

ROVERS' youngsters make their Ewood bow for the season on Tuesday, November 12 (kick-off 7pm) when they meet Blackpool in the first round proper of the FA Youth Cup.

In second round of the Lancashire FA Cup competition for professional clubs, Rovers also have a home tie, against Wigan Athletic, who beat Oldham in the first round.

That game has been arranged for Tuesday, November 19 (7pm) also at Ewood.

DON Mackay is back in the game after a lengthy absence.

It's ironic that the Scot, who is mine host at the Calf's Head, Worston, should finally clinch a return to professional football just when the other member of the duo who replaced him at Ewood, Ray Harford, was stepping down.
