ROVERS chief executive John Williams has scotched rumours that the club will move away from their traditional blue and white halves when they launch the new home strip.
"As long as Jack Walker is involved at this club there will never ever be a departure away from the traditional blue and white halves.
"And we will also be keeping strictly to the traditional Rovers blue."
The club are also considering bringing out a special strip to commemorate Rovers' 125 year anniversary.
The kit would be worn once -- provided permission from the league was granted -- at the game closest to the anniversary date this Autumn.
