A FUND-raising wine tasting evening will be held at the Higher Trapp Hotel, Simonstone, on May 24.
The event will celebrate the launch of Cuvee Pendleside, a range of wines specially bottled to raise money for Hospice Care for Burnley and Pendle.
The wines are available from John Stephenson and Sons, Manchester Road, Nelson, and the firm will make a donation to the hospice for every bottle sold.
Wine merchant managing director Ann Pearson met with hospice appeals manager Mark Sandamas and Nigel Fitzpatrick, managing director of the Higher Trapp, at the hotel to finalise plans for the evening.
"The wine tasting evening will be a great evening not only for wine buffs but for anyone just looking for a different night out," said Kaye Bartle, hospice fund-raising assistant.
The hotel is a keen supporter of the hospice and has chosen it as it's "Charity of the Year."
A black tie dinner at the hotel at Christmas raised £1,500 for the hospice.
