TRADER Alan Sumner, a familiar face on Blackburn's three day market, celebrated the silver jubilee of his family business with a party.
Alan, 46, of Lammack Road, Blackburn, has been closely involved with Alan's Shoes for 25 years.
More than 100 people, including fellow market traders, family and friends, attended his event at the Old Blackburnian Associated Football Club in Lammack.
Alan lost a leg when he was 16 as a result of a sports injury which became infected.
Further complications meant both his arms had to be amputated.
He said: "I want to thank everybody who helped make the party such a great success."
His friends presented him with a framed photograph of Blackburn Rovers' Premiership-winning squad -- altered by computer so Alan's face appears among his heroes.
