PUPILS at Stoneyholme County Primary School, Burnley, turned their eyes to heaven for a special visit this week.
The 400 youngsters formed their bodies into the shape of the letters making up the school name for aerial photographs by Cabair Heliphotos Flying Visits from Elstree.
School secretary, Cheryl Drain, said: "The children were thrilled when the helicopter landed in a cloud of dust on the all weather playing area."
Crew member Richard Moore gave a talk to the children about helicopters and school lessons were also linked to helicopters.
Before the visitors flew off, each class had a photograph taken in front of the helicopter.
