RACHEL Brown will win her 12th cap tomorrow when she goes between the sticks at the Reebok in the friendly international between England and Scotland.

The Burnley girl won't start -- that honour belongs to England's first choice keeper Pauline Cope, who plays for Charlton Athletic.

But, as this game is preparation for the women's European Championships which will take place in Germany next month, everyone will get a run out.

"I've been told I will be involved at some stage," said the 20-year-old who is currently studying Exercise Science -- and playing football -- in America.

"It will be great to play in the north again. I don't think I've done that since I made my international debut at Deepdale against Germany four years ago.

"It's usually in the States or down south.

"All my family and friends will be at the Reebok so it will be nice to be up north and hear some northern accents again!"

Manager Hope Powell has improved the English side since she took charge a few years ago and hopes this warm-up game will prepare the girls well for the championships.

This is especially as England have a tough group consisting of hosts Germany, Russia and Sweden.

"We just want to build on what we have achieved in the last few months and to improve our form going into the finals, where we will be huge underdogs," she said.

Kick off is 12 noon at the Reebok. Prices are £3 for adults while children and senior citizens are free.
