PLANS to build new soccer pitches on a rundown Blackburn estate have been unveiled.
Aberdeen-based firm GM Project Management has submitted plans for a
Shadsworth Playing fields, Shadsworth Road.
If Blackburn with Darwen Council planning and highways committee gives the go-ahead, 10 five-a-side-sized football pitches would be built on the land.
Changing pavilions and carparking provision is also included in the planning application, which was submitted this week.
The new football centre would run under the name Soccer Zone Ltd.
