A WOMAN had a lucky escape when her car left the road and ended up in a field near to the Crank turn-off of the Rainford bypass shortly before 9am on Thursday, June 7. The front of the vehicle was severely damaged and the female driver was taken to Whiston Hospital suffering from shock.
