MORE than one third of available tickets have been snapped up for the Bury Times sponsored Shakers v Manchester United pre-season friendly writes PHIL THORP.
The game, scheduled for Wednesday, August 8 (kick-off 7.45pm) is in aid of the Save Our Shakers Appeal and looks like being a huge moneyspinner.
At present only South Stand tickets (Bury fans) and Manchester Road End seats (Man U supporters) are being sold and depending on how fast tickets continue to go, other areas of the ground will be allocated accordingly with the main aim to fill as many seats as possible.
Until the hospitality tickets are allocated, and the club is aware of the percentage split between the two sides, no main stand tickets will go on sale.
Tickets are priced £10 adults; £5 juniors (under-16) and OAPs. They can be bought from the club's commercial office or from the main club reception from 9am to 4pm weekdays.
