1971: The Education Secretary, Margaret Thatcher, decided to end free school milk, resulting in the rhyme: "Thatcher, Thatcher, milk snatcher" to echo around many schools.
1977: Virgin Records hired a boat called the Queen Elizabeth for a party on the River Thames. The Sex Pistols performed Anarchy in the UK outside the Houses of Parliament and when the boat docked members of the party were arrested.
1976: The Wurzels were number one in the charts with Combine Harvester.
