A BEVY of trophies and awards were handed out at the annual presentation evening of the Radcliffe Combined Division of St John Ambulance.

The event, held at the branch headquarters in Sion Street, Radcliffe, honoured members for their service, examination passes and competition successes.

Those who received awards were: Craig Wood, attendance and duty hours awards; Sarah Shallcroft, nursing competition winner and joint winner of the adult first-aid competition; Leigh White, winner of best uniform award (nursing cadets) and promotion to sergeant; Iris Wood, joint winner of the adult first-aid competition; Jennifer Bramah, youth first-aid competition winner and promoted to cadet leader; Matthew Aspinall, winner of the best ambulance cadet 15 plus, youth first-aid competition winner and winner of best uniform (ambulance cadets).

Also among the accolades were: Emma Doyle (14), winner of the best nursing cadet; Sarah Bailey (12), best cadet (nursing) trophy winner; Jamie Blackshaw (13), winner of the best ambulance cadet under 15, Emma Bailey (10), winner of the best nursing cadet and super badger award; Daniel Hodgson (10), winner of the best action pack and action pack competition winner; Robyn White (7), best badger award winner; Ryan Lomax (9), winner of the Florence Hyde trophy for first-aid.
