A 29-YEAR-OLD woman passenger in a car was killed in an horrific accident on Preston New Road, Blackpool, early Wednesday morning.
She has since been named as Tracy Dawn Wright, of Deepdale Road, Mereside.
Her estranged husband, 32-year-old Dowyn Wright, was driving the vehicle when the accident occurred on the dual carriageway after it struck the central reservation.
Mr Wright escaped with minor injuries and was later arrested.
He has since been charged with various motoring and accident-related offences.
He was bailed to appear at Blackpool Magistrates Court, on Friday, to face charges of causing death by dangerous driving and causing death by careless driving above the legal alcohol limit.
