RIBBLESDALE Pool, in Clitheroe, will reopen tomorrow morning after a three-day closure for maintenance work.
The facility was forced to close at the weekend after its 30-year-old boiler suffered mechanical failure.
Ribble Valley Borough Council's leisure and tourism manager, Chris Hughes, said: "The boiler at the pool is old and broke down at the weekend.
"Finding replacement parts for it has proved difficult, but the necessary repairs will be completed by Thursday morning. Plans are being drawn up to replace the boiler in the New Year."
Ribblesdale Pool, in Edisford Road, was built in 1970 and attracts about 200,000 users a year. It is open from 7.30am to 10.30pm seven days a week.
