A VULNERABLE man who sparked a large scale search after being reported missing from home has been found safe and well.
Alan Howarth, of The Limes Residential Care Home, in Walverden Road, Brierfield, went missing at around 8.30am on Friday February 5.
Staff at the home had believed he had gone to Open Door furniture reclamation project, in Harle Syke, Burnley, where he volunteers.
But police launched an appeal.
Officers said Mr Howarth, who suffers from mental health problems, returned home at 9pm on Friday.
