ARCHBISHOP of Canterbury Dr Rowan Williams visited the newly-built Burnley and Pendle Faith Centre yesterday evening.
Dr Williams met church school headteachers and faith leaders at the centre, which is part of the Burnley Campus development in Barden Lane.
Today, he will speak to farmers at Myerscough College before travelling to Blackpool.
Later in the day he will meet Lancashire's mayors and civic leaders at County Hall, Preston, before hosting a service for clergy at St John the Divine (Minster) in Church Street, Preston.
And on Saturday, he will preach at Blackburn Cathedral as part of a morning service, before attending an open forum at the cathedral at 12.30pm.
