THREE men have been arrested after a daylight baseball bat attack on a teenager in Nelson.
The 19-year-old man was left with head injuries after being assaulted by a group at the junction of Chapelhouse Road and St Paul’s Road, police said.
A vehicle was also damaged in the attack at around 6.10pm on Saturday.
The teenager was taken to Burnley General Hospital where he received treatment.
He returned home later that evening.
The men have been released on police bail.
