Police are trying to trace the family of a 63-year-old who died at her home in Ramsbottom yesterday, Thursday.

Maria Murphy, who was originally from Whitefield, died at her home on Nuttall Lane yesterday, September 14.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death however, police are appealing for information on her next of kin.

The 63-year-old, whose maiden name was Mather, is believed to have a sister and four brothers, who are two sets of twins.

Anyone with information about Maria's next of kin should contact the Police Coroner’s Office in Rochdale on 0161 856 8095.
